BERNERA COMMUNITY CAFE

Situated along side the Museum in the Bernera Community Center, the Cafe provides home made soup, hot and cold snacks, tea, coffee and home baking.


Local crafts are also available.


Bernera Community Association run the cafe and the community hall.

 

OPENING HOURS

The cafe is currently closed due to Covid 19.

 

LOCAL CRAFTS FOR SALE IN THE CAFE

A selection of local crafts made by Bernera residents are on sale in the cafe including Harris Tweed, Knitwear, Willow work and Jewellery.

The Calum Murdo Community Garden was opened on 2nd August 2019.

Open to all it can be found at the back of the Community Center.

The Bernera Community Association also operate the local Poly Tunnels, found close to the center, which provide much of the fresh fruit and vegetables that are used in the food served in the cafe.


Visitors are welcome to look round the poly tunnels and obtain fresh produce when available for a donation.
